The UH Cover is designed to cover all pin-type insulators up to Class 5(7" dia. x 4 5/8" high) installed by hot sticks using the lugs extending upward from each end and on both sides of the center, as well as with rubber gloves and sleeves when working with 5kV or above from an insulated platform or aerial device. The side walls directly under the center portion are cut to permit the cover to be used on small insulators without resting on the crossarm.

Made from orange SALCOR corona resistant elastomer and featuring RIB-GRIP construction to work in conjunction with Extended Lip SU System Line Hose.

When covering 7" diameter insulators on double arm construction, the ends of the covers will meet flush on 10 1/2" pin centers.

 Post-Type Insulator Covers are designed for easy installation with hot sticks or with rubber gloves and sleeves when working 5kV or above from an insulated platform or an aerial device.

Molded of SALCOR corona resistant compound, both style covers have Rib-Grip construction to interlock with 1.5" Extended Lip SU System or Conventional Line Hose. The PTHL Cover has external ribs on the ears, which when used with the UC-2 Connector, secures 2.5" I.D. Line Hose butted against the ear of the cover.

Always use clamp pins to secure covers and hose in place.

The LRG System Pin-Type Insulator Cover is manufactured from orange SALCOR corona resistant elastomer and is designed to fit insulators 10.5" diameter. Easy application by hot sticks or rubber gloves and sleeves when working 5kV or above from an insulated platform or aerial device.

This cover is designed for use with 2.5" I.D. Extended Lip SU System Line Hose. It's recommended that the cover be applied first, then insert the hose into the arms of the cover. To prevent accidental separation of hose and cover, pinning rings have been placed on the cover's arms. Always use clamp pins to secure the device in position.
