The MRG Universal Cover will cover pin-type insulators through 8.5" diameter as well as 13.8kV post-type insulators.

A trim bead is provided so the cover can be used on both 35kV and 15kV crossarm construction where pin-type insulators are used. On 15kV applications trim out the area under the bead. This allows the cover to drop down on the arm and properly cover the conductor and insulator.

Molded of orange SALCOR corona resistant compound it features Rib-Grip construction. Easy installation and removal with hot sticks or rubber gloves and sleeves when working 5kV or above from an insulated platform or aerial device. MRG Insulator Cover can be furnished with a plastic lifting eye #2359 for easier hot stick application. Add the suffix "E" to the catalog number when ordering.
